Terms of Service

The understanding between us.

Last updated: 19 August 2026

These terms set out the simple agreement for using SatyaVani — what you can expect from us, and what we ask of you. By using the app, you agree to them.

01 Using SatyaVani

SatyaVani offers spiritual and psychological wisdom drawn from Indian scriptures, including a library of verses and talks, guided practices, and an AI companion called Sakha. You may use the app for your own personal, non-commercial reflection.

You must be at least 13 years old to use SatyaVani. If you're under the age of majority where you live, please use the app with a parent or guardian's involvement.

02 Your account

You sign in using your Google account. You're responsible for keeping access to that account secure. Please give accurate profile information so the app can serve you well, and let us know if you believe your account has been misused.

03 The Sakha companion — and its limits

Sakha offers reflection grounded in scripture. It is a companion, not a counsellor.

Sakha does not provide medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and is not a crisis service. Nothing it says should replace care from a qualified professional. If you are struggling or in crisis, please contact a doctor, a mental-health professional, or a helpline right away.

Because Sakha is powered by AI, its responses may sometimes be imperfect or incomplete. Please use your own judgement, and treat its words as a starting point for reflection rather than instruction.

04 Subscriptions, credits, and payments

How purchases work

SatyaVani offers optional paid plans (such as Silver and Gold) and credit packs, purchased through Google Play. Google processes all payments — we never handle your card, UPI, or bank details. Your purchase is also subject to Google Play's own terms.

Refunds

Purchases are generally non-refundable except where required by law or under Google Play's refund policy. Refund requests are handled through Google Play.

Prices

Prices are shown in the app before you buy. We may introduce new plans or change pricing for future purchases; any change will be shown clearly before you decide to buy.

05 Fair use

So the app stays good for everyone, please don't:

We may suspend or close accounts that abuse these terms.

06 Content and ownership

The scriptural verses SatyaVani draws upon are part of a shared heritage. The app's own presentation — its translations, adaptations, talks, design, and software — belongs to SatyaVani and may not be copied or reused commercially without permission.

Your conversations and reflections remain yours. By using Sakha, you allow us to process that content solely to provide and improve the app's features for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

07 Availability

We work to keep SatyaVani running smoothly, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change, or pause features, and we may occasionally take the app offline for maintenance.

08 Disclaimers and liability

SatyaVani is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about the app beyond those that cannot be excluded, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of it. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer law in India.

09 Ending your use

You may stop using SatyaVani and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken. Some provisions — such as those on ownership, disclaimers, and liability — continue to apply after your use ends.

10 Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of India.

11 Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the app grows. When we make meaningful changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Questions about these terms are welcome at support.satyavani@gmail.com.
